This week the weather does not look promising for Thursday and I am scheduled to substitute Wednesday and Thursday anyway so I thought I'd offer a ride to Platte City on Monday (MLK day). We will be leaving Embassy Suites at 9:00 (37 degrees according to weather.com) and head toward Platte City and Roxanne's. This is a 25 mile trip outbound so you should probably have something to eat before we go. Roxannes does serve breakfast as late as we will arrive or lunch is an option. Their deserts were great - ask anyone of the 4 who went last Thursday. The return can be as short as 10.7 miles (as mapped). There might be longer options but 35 miles is probably a good distance this time of year. Here is the Google map.
