I rode the airport a today (Wednesday). It was clear of most water and in good condition. What water was on the road could easily be avoided. Temps tomorrow at 9:30 will be right around 32° with moderate winds out of the east - a little chilly so dress warmly.
Airport laps are 3.67 miles each. You could do as many as you want. I am thinking of perhaps 5 laps then breakfast/lunch.
I think it would be best to park at the airport for our laps. Then perhaps drive to NKC to begin a ride to Spokes for our meal [It would be great to ride all of this but you would run the risk of being stopped by a train]. From the parking lot at 18th and Swift it is another 3.67 miles to Spokes. So 5 airport laps and to and from Spokes would be just over 25 miles.
