THURS (May 27) and SAT (May 29) Northland Bike Ride - Embassy Suites to ??? and Dearborn

This is a two-parter for the rides this week:

1st Part- Thursday, May 27  - As of Tuesday night the weather forecast does not look good. If there is significant change in this forecast I will update this post with a ride announcement on Wednesday or perhaps even Thursday morning.  Check this site and/or your email (if you have joined the email group - see top of the column to the right on this site).

2nd Part - Bob Pisciotta has announced a ride to Dearborn this Saturday, May 29th.  Two mileage options are available:
                A) 38 miles leaving from Embassy Suites at 9:45 AM (Leader Art Loepp)
                B) 32 miles leaving Ferrelview  (Leader Bob Pisciotta)
(205 Heady, Ferrelview, MO 64163) at 10 AM

Here's the 38 mile route (32 mile route starts and ends 3 miles from 38 mile start/finish).

LUNCH

For the Saturday ride there will be a lunch option at the Dearborn Cafe or you can bring a pack a lunch - a lunch stop will be made at the Camden Point park 5 miles short of Dearborn.

The text of Bob Pisciotta's Facebook post in the Riff Raff group is below:
Folks,
The weather forecast for this Saturday, May 29, looks great. I'm proposing another group ride--this time along the Interurban highway from near KCI to Dearborn and back. Many of you have done this ride with Art Loepp as the convener. If you've ridden the Interurban, you know that it's mostly level, quiet and wide open. It's a lovely bicycle route.

If you want to participate, you have options! We'll have a longer and shorter option. If you want the full 38+ mile route, you can head to the Tiffany Springs Embassy Suites (https://www.google.com/.../data=!4m8!3m7!1s0x0...
). Art will be there to convene riders. Departure time will be 9:45. If you want the shorter 32 mile route (like me), we will meet in Ferrelview, (https://www.google.com/.../data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4...
) at the public park next to city hall, for a 10am departure when the Embassy Suites group arrives.

The route is an out and back. No maps or ride leaders required. Go with your group at your own pace.

Insofar as dining is concerned, there are a couple of options. Art is investigating the Dearborn Cafe as a possible destination. Check Art's blog for information about this dining option: http://northlandbikeride.blogspot.com/
You also have the option of bringing along a lunch, and we can stop at the park in Camden Point for a quick bite.
